What’s the Difference From Traditional Training?

Fascial training is based on 4 basic principles because of all the different cells that make up this special tissue: feel for communication, stretch for shaping, spring for movement, and revive for supply. All the exercises will have these principles incorporated making the training specific to the connective tissue organizing the muscles and the body to a better movement.

What is the fascia? Why is it Important?

Fascia is a three-dimensional network of connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, tendons, nerves, and organs, playing a vital role in our overall physical health and performance. This tissue is made up of collagen and elastin fibers, and depending on the mix, it can form muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, or even organs. Within this network, special cells and molecules keep our bodies functioning smoothly. One important cell type is the fibroblast, which produces and renews collagen fibers, maintaining the body's structure. Another key molecule, hyaluronan, allows the layers of fascia to glide smoothly over each other, promoting fluid, pain-free movement.

Research shows that fascia can be trained. When fibroblasts are correctly stimulated, they can create strong and flexible tissue, even in previously injured areas. Regular fascial training helps maintain elasticity and structure, ensuring that the connective tissue remains supple. This increased flexibility and recoil capability allows for more fluid and efficient movements. Healthy fascia provides a solid foundation for muscle function, significantly improving muscle coordination and strength, energy storage, and energy transfer. Since connective tissue plays a crucial role in the body's healing process, training the fascia also improves fluid flow and nutrient delivery to tissues, promoting faster recovery after workouts or injuries.
